Geraldine Pawluk Obituary

Geraldine "Judy" Pawluk, 74 years, of Dorion, Ontario passed away Monday, March 5, 2007 in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital, Nipigon, Ontario with her daughter Rosanne and husband Robert by her side. Geraldine drove school bus for nearly fifty years. She fostered numerous children over the years, was an avid BINGO player and loved to fish, camp and play crib. Predeceased by her parents - Annie and Albert Lanktree, by six siblings - Howard, Clifford, Stan and Edward Lanktree, Janet Winko and Martha Verdon, by her grandson Jody Pawluk and by a foster son Ricky Kinney; she is survived by her daughter Rosanne (& Robert) Logan of Dorion, by David (& Irene) Pawluk of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Doug (& Debbie) Pawluk, Marlene Stewart (& James), Gerald (& Pam) Pawluk, Terry Pawluk (& Denise) all of Dorion, and Gerry Pawluk of Kapuskasing, Ontario. Numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. According to Geraldine's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd. , Nipigon."
