Gladys Height

Mrs. Gladys Height, 90 years, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2007 in St. Joseph's Hospital, Thunder Bay, Ontario following a brief illness. Gladys spent most of her life growing up in Dorion, where she raised her family. Gladys was predeceased by her parents: Sandy and Bertha Keatley, by her husband Harry, 1 sister Christena Winslow, by 1 brother Earl also by her son-in-law Vern Huhtala. Gladys is survived by 2 daughters Ruth Huhtala of Waterhen, Manitoba and Joyce (& Ed) Pawluk of Woodlands, Manitoba, by 3 sons - John (& Edith), Barry (& Leona), Reg (& Diane) all of Dorion, Ontario, by 16 grandchildren, 27 great granddchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren also by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the Elliott Funeral Home Ltd. , Nipigon, Ontario where friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Julky 8, 2007 and at the Dorion Community Centre from 10 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2007. Funeral services will be Monday, July 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Dorion Community Centre. Interment Dorion Mountainside Cemetery. If friends so wishing may make donations to the Dorion Bible Fellowship Building Fund, the Northern Cancer Research Foundation or to the charity of their choice."
