GORDON STEPHENSON Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gordon Russell Stephenson, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 77. His childhood was spent in Rosslyn village, where he attended elementary school and graduated from Westgate CVI; then graduated from LU (Forestry). He proudly served the City of Thunder Bay as a member of the Fire Department from 1974 to 2005. He is survived by wife Marilyn (nee Elvish) son Murray (Alison) Grandchildren Brooklyn & Austin, Great-grandchildren Annabelle and Scarlett. Brother Percy (Sonja) Sister Darlene (Bob).
Rest in peace, Gord.

My condolences to Marylyn, family and friends of the Stephenson family. I worked with Gordie for many years, I can tell you, he was one of those character's, who made life a bit funnier. I loved his stories and his calm demeanor, just a really nice guy. See you in heaven Gordie, save me a spot.
