Had not seen Haakon in over 40 years until we had lunch in Thunder Bay in October 2023.
We were pals from public school days at Shuniah School. He was always a great amiable friend.
I was unable to reach him on my most recent visit to TBay a couple of weeks ago.
I´m very sad to learn of his passing .

Haakon and Helen were both very kind and generous and they both became a big part of my life and of my children´s lives. Thank you for sharing part of your lives with us in Calgary. Love, Doris Dixon

Helen and Haakon were exceptionally kind and giving always. They literally helped raise my children as we lived across the street from them in Calgary. Helen cared for the kids before and after school plus lunchtimes for many years and I shall never forget how good both Helen and Haskon were to us. RIP HAAKON.

I´m so very sorry for your loss. Haakon was a volunteer in the physio department when I worked there. He was kind and funny and proud of you Jana.
