The family of Hans Lingner is sad to announce his passing at age 99. Hans was the second son born to Stefan and Gertruda Lingner in Röde, Romania, where he was raised and educated. He served briefly in WW11. He emigrated to Canada in 1952, followed shortly thereafter by his wife and daughter. Hans worked for many years at Kam Motors Bodyshop, retiring in his late 60s. In retirement he enjoyed gardening, grooming his lawn and camping. Playing cards with his friends Helmet, Herb and Bill was also a favourite pastime. Hans is survived by his daughter Trudi(Jack) McRury, grandsons Jason (Annie) and James (Cindy), six great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Elsbeth Lingner, niece Stephanie (Dwight) Henderson and other family members.
