HARRY RYCHLIWSKY
Harry Rychliwsky, aged 90, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his family. He had a strong work ethic, was a strategic thinker, was kind, and was always willing to lend a helpful hand. Harry enjoyed berry picking with Mary, Helen, Christine, and Emil. He enjoyed fishing with Tommy, John, and friends. He also enjoyed the friendship of Bob Larocque, Gerry Culliton, and Betty Shubaly. He took joy in gardening, carpentry, photography, wine making, and swimming at Volunteer Pool. He worked for 25 years as a conductor at CP Rail, and in his youth, he worked on Lake Freighters throughout the Great Lakes. During his life he travelled to Mexico, Cuba, Portugal, and throughout Canada and the US. His parents immigrated to Canada from Ukraine and predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Margaret, and his children, Tracy (David predeceased) and William (Susanne), his sister, Ann (Bohdan predeceased), and his grandchildren, Victoria (Nick), Jacob, Emma, and great grandsons, Nico and Vinn. He is also survived by his nieces Sonya Gribble, and Christina Plavan, as well as their children Matthew, Gregory, Alexis, and Robert. He had several in-laws and nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Bassuony, Teresa, Nicole, and other staff at St. Joseph Hospital. In addition, gratitude is extended to the staff of Bayshore Home Health, including Ernestine, Varghese, and Nipun. The friendship and care of Sneby Sibi is appreciated.
