The family is sad to announce the passing of Helen Maree Zablotny, aged 82 years, in the TBRHSC TCU at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

Helen will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Brian (Amy) Zablotny and Laura (Aaron) Dowswell as well as grandchildren Brady, Victoria and Josh. Predeceased by her husband Edward Zablotny and parents Rita and Alfred Lugg.

Her final days were spent surrounded by family. Helen was a presence full of light upon this earth and we were a witness to her life and too its worth.

A private family service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Northern Cancer Fund.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too, This is the legacy we have from you. You taught us love and how to fight, You gave us strength, you gave us might. A stronger person would be hard to find, And in your heart, you were always kind. You fought for us all in one way or another, Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
