McDONALD, HELENE BERNADETTE (nee Kahan)
Passed away at Hospice Quinte on Saturday, March 1st, 2025 at the age of 103. Loving wife of the late William "Bill" McDonald. Cherished mother of Tere McDonald (Marie) and Lori Dearing. Proud grandmother of Christie, Megan (Jay), Shannen, David (Sarah) and great-grandmother of Asher, Shepard and Ellie. Helen was an active participant in the Trenton community over the past 50 years. During those years, many of her passionate activities included: line dancing, hula dancing, playing with the String Along's at numerous retirement homes, Astronomy, and of course her renowned crafting skills. She will always be remembered for her quick wit, her jokes, and her energetic spirit. A Celebration of Helene's Life will be held at Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Saturday, March 8th, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm with a time of family sharing at 2:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
