Helvi Perkiomaki Obituary

HELVIPERKIOMAKI Mrs. Helvi Perkiomaki, age 70 years, a resident of Suomi Koti passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 7, 2000. Born in Finland, she had resided in the city since 1957. She was a member of Saalem Finnish Pentecostal Church. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Tuula, Mrs. Russ Leroux, son Tapio (Patricia) of Regina, Saskatchewan (here), grandchildren: Christopher (Martha) Perkiomaki, Raija and Erik Leroux, and great grandchildren Steven and Paul Perkiomaki. She was predeceased by her husband Erkki, sister Heiri Kivisto and brother Tauno Aho. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 10th at 11:00 am in Saalem Finnish Pentecostal Church, 21 Walkover Street, conducted by Pastor Juha Ketola. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Removal will be made from the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, to the Church one hour prior to service time.There will be a private family visitation. As expressions of sympathy memorials to Suomi Koti or Saalem Finnish Pentecostal Church would be greatly appreciated."
