IRIS MAE MISLENOVICH
Iris Mae Mislenovich, age 83 years, passed away on September 18, 2025 at TBRHSC.
Iris was born in St. Rose, Manitoba on July 6, 1941, moving to Red Rock as a child, then to Thunder Bay. She worked many jobs as a young woman.
Iris found the love of her life around 1967, and they got smart and married; on that day we became a family!
Iris loved camping, fishing, beating dad at cribbage, doing things with the grandkids and having big family dinners.
Iris will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons: James (Rosemary), Danny, Mark; grandchildren Jessie, Tiffany (Shawen) and George; great grandchildren Dallas and Austin; brothers and sisters-in-law Gordon Dirk, Micky and Joe Pulack, Roxanne Halverson and Gil Couch; many nieces and nephews; plus, close friends Judy and Bill, Colleen, Robert and Janet.
Iris was predeceased by mother Edna Harrison; father William J. Harrison; sisters Ellen, Gwen, Mary Dirk; brother Russel and wife Jean, and the love of her life, George Mislenovich.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 3, 2025 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, presided by Rev. Elizabeth Sipos. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Private interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the staff at Thunder Bay Hospital, Harbourview, and St. Michael's Church.
