CALDBICK January 25, 2010 - September 9, 2025
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Isla Annette Caldbick on September 9th, 2025, in Thunder Bay, ON. Born in Thunder Bay on January 25, 2010, Isla was an extremely passionate person in all she cared about: friends, family, music, school, and aesthetics. She shared her mom's kindness and sensitivity to animals and nature, her dad's humour and love of 90's alternative music, and was extremely loving to her sister, friends, and family. She was a faithful member of Harmony United Church and a loyal dancer/teacher at Legacy Dance Company.
Lovingly remembered by parents, Hayley Veldhoen and Charles Caldbick, sister, Mabel Caldbick, grandparents, Annette VandenBrand, Peter Caldbick, Hugo and Annette Veldhoen; aunts, Cathy Veldhoen, Ginger Zelko (Steve) and Cati Caldbick; cousins, Aidan, Eilish, Claudia, Ben, Max, Mitchell and Tyler, best friend Lilah (Zard) DePeuter, honorary grandparents, Val and Jan Nesset, and godmother, Ruth Kamo.
A memorial service will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Courthouse Hotel, 277 Camelot St., September 22, 2025. Words of tribute will begin at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Isla's name to a mental health
