Ivan Oresnik Obituary

The family announces with sorrow his death at the Geraldton District Hospital on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Stella and dearest father of: Stephany Barrett (Daniel) of Kakabeka Falls, Ontario and Ivan Oresnik (Cathy) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is survived by his sister: Liza Visocnik and his brother: Franc Oresnik (Maria) both of Ljubno, Slovenia. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren: Jason, Kristopher, Teri, Ivan and Sarah. Friends will be received at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church (Longlac) on Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. The funeral ceremony will be held at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church (Longlac) on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 11:00am with Father Lucien Bouillon officiating. The interment will be held at Longlac Cemetery. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated."
