James Nuttall Obituary

Mr. James Louis Nuttall, 82 years, of Hurkett, Ontario passed away Saturday, May 16,2009 in Pioneer Ridge Home for the Aged, Thunder Bay, Ontario with his family by his side. James served with the Canadian Army. He worked as a commercial fisherman for most of his adult life, and was a mink rancher for several years. Predeceased by his parents - Mary and Louis W. Nuttall, by two brothers -Jack and Alonzo and by one sister Isabel Taylor; he is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years Ethel Grace, by four sons - Terry (& Dolores) Nuttall, James (& Tina) Nuttall, Craig (& Wanda) Nuttall and Bruce (& Claudette) Nuttall all of Hurkett, Ontario, by thirteen grandchildren - Melissa (& Kurt) - Hurkett, Jody (& Brian) - Hurkett, James Daniel (& Anna Marie) - Petawawa, Stephanie - Thunder Bay, Joey -Hurkett, Lindsay (& Steve) - Nipigon, Lesley (& Kyle) - Thunder Bay, Kimberly (& Adam) - Thunder Bay, Jeremy (& Harmony) - Hurkett, Michelle (& Dennis) - Thunder Bay, Jessica (& Jason) - Thunder Bay, Emily (& Adam) - Toronto, Louis - Thunder Bay, by four great grandchildren - Jake, Brittany, Charlie and Hailey, by brother-in-law Maurice Kay and by sister-in-law Rose Marie Kay. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. According to James's wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for James Nuttall will be held over coffee on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. at the Hurkett Community Centre, Hurkett, Ontario. Interment of cremains will be in Hurkett United Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Elliott Funeral Home Ltd. , Nipigon. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Parkinson Foundation or the charity of their choice."
