JAMES WESTERBACK Obituary
JAMES THORALPH WESTERBACK June 16, 1958 - December 25, 2024
James died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospice on December 25, 2024. Known to family and friends as Jim, he enjoyed fishing with his dad and later his friends. He loved the outdoors and travelling. In his younger days he travelled with his friends in a band as the lights and sound technician. He later became an electrician and worked through the union until the late 90's, early 2000's.
Jim was predeceased by his father John Westerback, brother Brian Westerback and sister Susan Nicholas (nee Westerback). Survived by his mother Shirley Westerback (nee Heisholt), his sister-in-law Gale Westerback, brother-in-law William Nicholas, nieces Angela Nicholas, Laura Wilson and Kayla Westerback, as well as Aunt Myrna Westerback, niece Quinn Wilson and nephews Jackson Wilson, Connor and Liam McFayden and numerous cousins.
Thank you to St. Joseph's Care Group and his friends Paul, Darryll and Wendy for being by his side. Funeral arrangements will be made at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
