Janet Przy

Janet was born in the village of Ystrad in the Rhondda Valley in Wales. She was one of thirteen children born to Warner and Sara Pratt. Janet grew up in Wales and joined the British Army during the second world war. Love and marriage came to her during the war when she met Joseph Przy, a Canadian solider. Janet and Joe were married in England on May 15th, 1944. Their first child Penry Lewis was born in Wales. Their next two children Kathy and Joseph were born in Thunder Bay, Ontario where Janet and Joe had made their home. Janet's husband Joseph passed away on May 17, 1974 and she continued to operate their grocery and confectionary business for many years after. In her later years Gran had lived with her children and passed away amongst family where she was living with her daughter Kathy in Chilliwack B.C. Grans long life can be attributed to her love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren who always had a friend in her, a place to go, a place to feel and be loved. Gran leaves behind her son Penry, his wife Rachel and their daughter Isha, in Courtenay B.C. her son Jospeh in Thunder Bay, Ontario, her daughter Kathy Tsamantanis in Chilliwack B.C. , her grandchild Sean Przy, his wife Sue and their children Aaron, Mali, and Rebecca in Courtenay B.C. , her gandchild Kelly and Donny Mills, their children Kyra, Caeden, and MacKenzie from Innisville Ont. , her grandchild Terri Tsamantanis, her childen Brandon, Daniel, Cody, Bailey, and Sierra from Chilliwack BC. , her grandchild Johnathan from P.E.I. , her grandchild Dawn, her husband Wayne Austin and their children Elizabeth, and Coltan from Chilliwack B.C. Gran also leaves behind three sisters in Wales, Gwenth, Jessie, and Peggy. Janet will be laid to rest in Thunder Bay bside her husand Joseph in June, the date will be announced later.
