Jasmine Mackenzie Robertson November 14, 2000 - August 29, 2014 Miss Jasmine Mackenzie Robertson, age 13 years, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Friday, August 29, 2014. Jasmine was born on November 14, 2000 in Thunder Bay. She attended Ecole Gron Morgan from Junior Kindergarten until half way through grade 6. When her family moved from Dorothy Street to Fort William, Jasmine started attending Westmount School, where she graduated from Grade 8 on June 24, 2014. She enjoyed drawing and colouring, swimming, photography, movies and games, as well as spending time with family and friends. Jasmine was a beautiful, courageous young lady. She was honest, loving and caring but was also very bold, feisty and stubborn. She lit up the room with her smile and personality and will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched. Jasmine is survived by her parents Grace Fox and Donald Robertson; siblings Katrina Robertson, Patti Lynn Robertson and niece Haille of Sioux Lookout and Steven Robertson of Kenora; grandparents Harold and Edna Robertson of Sioux Lookout and Julie Fox of Thunder Bay; aunts and uncles Brad Robertson of Sioux Lookout, Lauriel (Arvid) Hakala of Sioux Lookout, Roy (Doreen) Fox of Thunder Bay, Colleen Fox (Garon Perlin) of Sioux Lookout and Linda Fox of Sioux Lookout as well as many great uncles and great aunts, cousins and other family. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Leo Fox; great uncle Mackenzie Robertson, cousin Desmond Maskerine and other relatives. Funeral Services for the late Miss Jasmine Robertson will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 1:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James, officiated by Rev. Randy Boyd. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Jasmine to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, Victoria Children's Hospital or Childcan would be greatly appreciated.
