Jayme Jensen Obituary
With great sadness and sorrow the family of Jayme Lynn Rose Jensen announce her sudden and unexpected passing. Jayme was born on April 12, 1985 and lost her battle with addiction the day before her 36th Birthday on April 11, 2021. Jayme was a beautiful soul and touched many lives with her infectious smile, caring heart and sense of humour. To know her was to Love her! She was very loyal to her friends and family and always made you smile even when she was hurting inside. One of her proudest moments was graduating from Western University with her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition and had recent goals of returning to work on her Masters. Jayme is survived by her parents Edgar and Cindy Lyght, her brothers Jeffrey Jensen (Leeanna), Darren and Justin Thomas, Aiden King and sister Hailey King. She is also survived by her grandmothers Lynn Jensen and Barbara Lyght, niece Brooklyn Jensen and nephew Brody Jensen as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Predeceased by her father Claude Kishiqueb/Shellesky, her Nanny Victoria Miller, her Papa Jesse Lyght, nephew Kyle Kolomy and Grandma and Grampa Shellesky. In lieu of flowers please donate to Matawa Education and Care Centre where Jayme worked and was loved by the students and staff.

Every time Jayme and I bumped into each other we would laugh about the the same story: when we were in elementary school our moms drove the same brown Acadian car. One day I thought it was my mom picking me up from school and went to get into the car, only to realize it wasn't my mom. Jayme watched me do this and laughed. Ill never forget her smile. You will be dearly missed Jayme.

Jayme and I were friends in elementary school. We had spent a lot of time together and unfortunately lost touch through the years. I am very saddened by her struggles and her passing. My deepest condolences to her family and to those who knew her. She was there for me at a time when I truly needed her friendship and I hope she has found peace. Rest now Jayme and look after those you loved.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jayme's passing. I enjoyed working with her at Matawa education. She was always willing to help out and always had a smile. We had some good talks and laughs. She even helped me out with some items for my wedding. God bless you and your family, Jayme!!!
