Jean Tominski Obituary

Miss Jean Tominski, age 56 years, a resident of Versa Care passed away at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on Thursday December 2, 2004. Jean was born January 25, 1948 in Germany. Along with her mother and brother, she emigrated to Canada in 1950 to meet with their dad who emigrated a year earlier. She enjoyed her earlier years being raised at the family home at 397 Queen Street. Jean enjoyed working with her hands making crafts especially Christmas ornaments. Jean is survived by her brothers Richard, Stan (Philmene Jondreau), sons: Marc (Angie), Esquimalt B.C. and Scott (Deborah), Edmonton Alberta. Cousins Roma and Adrian Kustermans, their children Greg, Jessica, Olivia and Brian, Waterford Ontario, Sofie Jakubowski, her children Leo, Henry and Jean, Sarnia Ontario, Richard and Jean Wojtaszek, their children Barb (Franc) Wojtaszek and son Danny Wojtaszek. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Poland also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and John, grandmother Katarzina Pasciak and other aunts and uncles and cousins in Poland. Thank you to Philmene whom Jean adored, who was with Jean until she moved into eternal rest. A special thank you to the 5th floor staff at Versa Care for 13 years of love, and caring looking after Jean, also the staff on 3B, ICU Regional Health Sciences Centre. A Vigil Service will be held on Tuesday evening, December 7, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sargent & Son Funeral Chapel, 21 N. Court Street, presided by Rev. Josef Blaszak.
