JO-ANN (POTTS) THOMPSON Oct 13/56 ~ Apr 22/24
The family is sad to announce the passing of Jo-Ann Thompson in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Jo-Ann went to Francis Street, Greenacres, Westmount and Westgate schools in Thunder Bay.
Jo enjoyed playing saxophone in high school and in the militia band. She loved to crochet, sew, quilt, and made many gifts for her family and friends. With an adventurous spirit, she moved west to work in NWT, BC, and Manitoba settling in Flin Flon. Jo-Ann loved to read, swim and her church family was very important to her.
Jo-Ann was predeceased by her father, Bud (2020) and mother, Shirley (2023). She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert/Bob, daughters Kendra and Brenna, brother, Tom Potts (Dianne, Jennifer, Trevor) and many friends, especially Dory Kopechanski.
A funeral for Jo-Ann Thompson was held in Flin Flon on May 1, 2024.
We will miss your bright eyes and smile, snickers and snorts of laughter, Jo. Peace be with you.
