JOAN ORR Obituary

JOAN ORR
With heavy hearts and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Joan Orr, at 91 years of age on November 26, 2025.

Mom loved her family deeply and was endlessly proud of each and every one of us. She had a special love for bingo and could light up a room with her kindness and warm spirit. She was patient and caring and always ready with a listening ear or a comforting word. Her love and presence will be profoundly missed.

Joan is lovingly survived by her devoted husband Alfred; the two recently celebrated 75 years of marriage, a remarkable milestone. She is also survived by her 5 children - George, Bill, Nancy, Barb and Bob - together with their spouses and partners as well as 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date. If donations are part of your tradition, please consider Ronald McDonald House Charities, a place near and dear to our hearts and a refuge during a time of family crisis.

I would like to send condolences and prayers to Alf and his family on the loss of Joan. I live in the same building as them. She was always so kind telling me she was doing great everytime I talked to her. I will miss those short talks.
