JOE MOLLY Obituary

Jan. 31, 1951 ~ Jan. 6, 2026
Joseph Paul Molly left us in the early morning hours of Jan. 6 at St. Joe's Hospital.

Growing up Joe wanted to be a truck driver and did so his entire working life until a heart attack at age 53 forced an early retirement. He was granted 21 bonus years thanks to multiple heart surgeries and the exceptional care from Dr. Frank Nigro, whom Joe spoke very highly of.

Alas, it was the loss of his wife Wendy in 2022 after 48 years of marriage that ultimately wrecked his heart beyond repair.

In his younger years you could catch Joe at the baseball fields, replaced by bingo halls and casinos after he hung up his glove for good. He loved a good joke and told many, an occasional cold beer and was a fantastic dancer. To see Joe & Wendy float across the dance floor to "Delilah" by Tom Jones was truly a sight to behold.

Predeceased by wife Wendy, parents Frank & Della Molly, in-laws George & Hilda Leroux and brother-in-law Geoff Todd.

Survived by son Ryan, grandsons Brennen and twins Easton and Austin, sisters Kathie Tolmie, Judy Robinson (Harold) and Charlotte Prokopetz (Chris Karam) and by nephews, nieces and sister-in-law Valerie Todd.

Cremation has taken place and at Joe's request there will be no service. Online condolences may be directed to Harbourview Funeral Centre. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

We'll meet you at the gate Joe.

Sincere condolences Ryan and family. We have many memories of Joe during his bowling years. It was nice catching up with him at the ball field awhile back. Anne & John

Ryan...our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family for the loss of your dad. We spent many years with your mom and dad (and you too) playing baseball (your dad was a darn good 3rd baseman and homerun hitter), going fishing and just visiting back and forth. We talk often about the "good old days" and remember that your mom and dad had such a loving marriage. Uncle Larry always says that they "were joined at the hip". We pray that you will find comfort in your own memories and carry them with you always. Sending you our love and hugs!!!
