October 25, 1960 - June 11, 2014 Mr. John Joseph Adamo, age 53 years, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. John was born on October 25, 1960 in Terrace Bay, Ontario, a town he was proud to call home. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, camping and being on his boat. He enjoyed puttering around the yard, working on various projects. He also had a passion for sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leafs and Dallas Cowboys, as well as his special dog and best friend, Dallas. John had a heart of gold and his family and friends always came first. He was a man who did everything his own way, but was truly respected and lived life to the fullest. John will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.John is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa; three loving children Christina Adamo (Chuck Boon), Trevor (Nancy) Adamo and Jillian; his parents Robert and Aina Adamo; brother Gregory (Frances) Adamo, niece Elyssia and nephew Christian Adamo and his grandmother Olga Adamo. He is also survived by aunts and uncles Norman and Elsie Adamo, David and Diana Adamo, Donna Richards as well as many cousins, other relatives and friends.Funeral Services for the late Mr. John Adamo will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Private interment will take place at a later date.
