My dad grew up on McIntyre Street in Port Arthur. We would visit his father Jens almost every summer. You could see the sleeping giant from his childhood home. My memories of Thunder Bay were fond ones, so much so I decided to go to Lakehead for Forestry. My father never forgot his roots and always talked about his Northern fishing trips with his dad and his sister Sonja.
