Mr. John Michael McKevitt, age 93 years, passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 15, 2025 with his family by his side. A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. A full obituary will follow.

So sorry to hear of your Dad´s passing.
I have many fond memories of growing up and hanging out at your house and the terminal.
My Dad (Lorne) is 89 now and is slowing down quite a bit. Still in his house. And fairly active.

I grew up Schreiber ontario on Ontario st. John. TUFFY LIVED down the street from me. I was younger and I had a great crush on him.

Mr. McKevitt was a wonderful man; a gentleman. He and Shirley were fine, upstanding people and such a lovely couple. I met them in business and they were clients, lovely clients at that. It was always a pleasure seeing them. I offer my sincere condolences to all at this time. Rest in peace Mr. McKevitt.
