One year without you, a year that has felt both impossibly long and heartbreakingly short and still every breath hurts, I still feel your absence in every step.
The days are dimmer now; the nights are the hardest, quiet, heavy, endless, and lonelier that I ever imagined they would be.
I was so lucky we found each other, you were my partner, my best friend, my safe place, my home, my greatest gift. Love that made everything make sense, the one who knew my heart without needing words, my true soul mate.
You are not forgotten, you are with me in memory, in my heart, in everything I do, you were, and always will be with me and I'll keep holding on to the love we shared.

It's been a year since we said goodbye and not a day goes by that we don't miss you.
We miss your steady presence, laughter, your wisdom and your strength.
You didn't have to be there but you were with a full heart. You taught us how to live with purpose and honesty, to cherish life's simple moments and to value time and family.
The lessons you shared are a part of us now, and we will carry them with us forever. For the love and guidance you gave, we will always be grateful.
