John Pollock Obituary

John (Jack) Alfred Pollock, age 75 passed away at his residence on July 17, 2012 in Sudbury, Ontario. He was predeceased by his father John (Scotty) and mother Marjorie, and his sisters, Courtney and baby Eugene. He is survived by his brother, David Pollock and wife Grace, and other family members. Jack was with the CPR railroad from 1963, retiring in 1994. He started with the running trade and retired as a conductor on VIA passenger train. Jack was very passionate about fishing, camping and celebrating at family functions. A memorial service was held on August 7, 2012 at the Branch 5 Legion, Thunder Bay, Ontario. Cremation and a private family interment was August 8, 2012 at Mountainview Cemetery. Special thank you to the Auxiliary Legion members. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Society would be gratefully appreciated. "
