John Yacuk

Mr. John Yacuk, aged 91 years, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, February 14, 2011 at Thunder Bay Interim Long Term Care. He will be lovingly remembered by his family: wife of 61 years Lois; son Danny (Debbie) of Edmonton; daughter Diane Gauthier of Thunder Bay and son Wayne (Louise) of Thunder Bay. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Sheri and Lauri of Edmonton, Quentin of Vancouver and Dana and Trair of Thunder Bay; great grandson Jonathan and great granddaughters Kayla and Ginna all of Edmonton. He is also survived by his brothers Wally (Rita) of Penticton, BC and Nick of Selkirk, MB, his sister Stella (late Mike) Katchan of Angusville, MB and sister-in-law Darlene (Gordie) Hykaway of Russell, MB. John was predeceased by his parents and a twin brother Michael. A Celebration of John's life will be held in the chapel of Jenkens Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00 am followed by a reception in Jenkens Reception Centre. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens to follow. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service time.
