John Zanutto Obituary
Mr. John "Johnny" Zanutto, age 47, died on Thursday, September 9, 2021. Johnny was born and raised in Thunder Bay, by parents George and Maria. He was a paramedic, drove for Lift+ paratransit, had an environmental technician diploma, and taught English in China. He enjoyed caring for his dogs (Buddy, Pluto, and Lucky), video games, barbecuing, disc golf, trips to Philadelphia, and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Johnny is survived by his life partner Cora Letwin (Thunder Bay), sister Elaine (Philadelphia), brother David and sister-in-law Leanne (Calgary), and nieces and nephews Kevin, Finn, Matthew, Sarah, and Trinity. Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held graveside on Friday, November 12, 2021 in Mountain View Cemetery. If friends desire, memorials to the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society would be appreciated.

Haven’t talked in years but think of you pretty often: This is a bummer. Really sorry to hear it as you were always willing to give someone the time to listen and were generally a really fun and generous person. Rip jonny playing cribbage or a game with all the famous dead figures from history (as we talked about many times!)
