Jolene's spirit was truly radiant. Anyone who met her was instantly struck by her infectious enthusiasm for life and her deep commitment to advocacy. (And also her wry sense of humour.)

She channeled her second chance into making a difference for others, and that legacy will continue to ripple outward. Her gratitude was woven into everything she did and every choice she made.

What strikes me most is how she loved - fully, openly, and without reservation. Whether it was the joy her puppies brought her or the community that surrounded her with support when she needed it most, she knew how to both give and receive love in its purest form. She had this remarkable ability to make people feel seen and valued, and her charm was undeniable.

My family remember her often and love her always.

Jolene you were one of the strongest people I met against all
Odds. I hope where you are now you are breathing easy. I hope heaven gives you all the things you wished for in life and more.

Jolene comes to mind often as I recall a sweet young soccer player back in 1996. Thoughts with the Gallinger family.
