Joe was my doctor for 40 years and I was saddened when he retired and even sadder to learn that he had passed. He was a kind ,caring and sensitive doctor as well as a person. I went to see him shortly before I retired and will never forget his advice .He Said" From this point on you will sleep when you want, eat when you want ,wake when you want, you are now your own boss enjoy the rest of your life" probably the best advice I have ever had.
He was a great man and I always considered him a friend and he always treated me like I was a friend not just a patient.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe´s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at NorWest for many years. His sense of humour was infectious! I enjoyed working with him so much. I remember when he wanted to get into riding a motorcycle and I suggested for him to take the motorcycle course as I had just completed it. In no time at all, he was done and on his way to Sturgis! I´m glad it brought him so much joy. He was a wonderful person and will truly be missed by many!

Joe was the best. We laughed so many times. He was my Dr. Since he came to Thunder Bay and had become a friend. We were to get together at his Oliver lake home, but life struggles made it difficult. Joe always had a huge smile when we talked about his kids. Super sense of humour. You will be missed buddy.

Joe was a doctor who fought for his patients. He was really my only doctor for almost 40 years and always listened. Not just a doctor but a true human being who did care about his patients. My condolences to his family. I know that you have lost someone very special. He was taken away too soon.

So sorry for your loss. We mainly saw Joe at the hockey rink where his commentary during Jake´s games was as entertaining as the game itself.
