JOSEPH IAGALLO
With hearts full of love and gratitude, we honour the remarkable life of Joseph Anthony Iagallo, whose warmth, grace and spirit touched countless hearts. Joe filled the world with his loving and caring soul until his peaceful passing, with family at his side, on April 10, 2025, at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife Gizel of 34 years, his two sons whom he adored, Trent in Toronto and Travis, Joe's sister Sandra (Kai-Christian) in Switzerland, his brothers-in-law Steven (Angie) in BC and Brian, nephews Steven, Ryan and nieces Stephanie and Nicole.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, Bernice and Attilio Iagallo, in-laws Matija and Steve Humar and many extended family members.
Joe was born October 15, 1964 in Fort William, Ontario and was the eldest of two children. From a young age, Joe's passion for reading, learning and solving problems set his path in life, and he was a role model for family, friends and colleagues. Joe met Gizel in university where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree and later went on to earn his Master's in Business Administration. Joe settled into a long career with Bombardier until his retirement in 2024.
Joe touched the hearts of everyone he met with his humour, kindness, knowledge and generosity. He had many interests but music and playing his guitar was his happy place. He loved cooking, travelling, and playing his strategy games.
Joe was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
Please join us in the Celebration of Joe's Life at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in the R. Leino Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre for services presided by Rev. Msgr. P. M. Stilla.
