JOSEPH MIHALICH Obituary
Joseph Mihalich, age 91, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2025 surrounded by family. Joseph was born March 1, 1933 in Delmas, Saskatchewan.
Joseph is predeceased by his wife Loretta, his son Daniel, and his siblings. He is also predeceased by his former partner Elva Mclean.
He is lovingly remembered by his son Bruce (Sharon) and grandson Zach (Emily); his daughter Caroline MacDougall (Matt) and grandsons Troy and Jason: and his partner Kathy Maki. Joseph also shared a close bond with Kathy's children; Renny (Mizpah) and Kirsten (Chris).
After dedicating 35 years of service to the CP Rail, Joseph retired in 1990. In retirement, he embraced a variety of interests, with playing music and playing bridge holding a special place in his heart. His passion for life and curiosity led him to explore new paths that brought joy to all those around him.
A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at a later date.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

Worked many shifts with Joe, hard worker, good at the job, always entertaining he was one of the best! My condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of training and working with Joseph on the railroad, him...showing me the right way to do things. Many times during the shifts, he made me laugh out loud!! My condolences to all the family members.
