JOSEPH ANDREW (ANDY) PETERS May 2, 1930 - June 1, 2013 Mr. Joseph Andrew (Andy) Peters, age 83 years, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Andy was born on May 2, 1930 in Timmins, Ontario. He was dedicated Police Officer with the Ontario Provincial Police for 33 years. He was a "jack of all trades" and enjoyed fixing and tinkering with things around the house. Andy loved to travel by RV and exploring new surroundings. He and Ruth spent the last 10 winters down in Fort Myers, Florida where many friendships were formed. Andy's family and friends were most important to him. Andy is survived by his wife, Ruth; children Andrea (Paul) Nadeau, Monty (Carol) Peters and Janis Peters as well as grandchildren Christian and Connor Nadeau and Stephanie and Lucy Peters. He was predeceased by his parents Alexander and Frances Peters and his first wife, Nora. Funeral Services for the late Joseph Peters will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00AM in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church celebrated by Father Richard Kowalchuk. Interment will follow in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.
