Joyce Thurber Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Eva Thurber (Clark), passed away on October 17, 2002 surrounded by her loving family. Joyce was born on August 31, 1928 in Oakner, Manitoba to the late John and Annie Clark. She later married Earle Thurber and they resided in Nova Scotia, Raith and in later years, Huron Avenue. Her family and friends were her greatest pleasures. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Sandy and John, sister Isabel Brandan and granddaughter Jackie Huston. Joyce is survived by her husband Earle, daughter Deb (Jim) and grandsons Aaron, Gary and Sandy of Thunder Bay, son Daniel and grandson Dustin of Fort Frances. Also left to mourn her loss are her sisters Mary Kirkham of Lethbridge, Alberta and Terry Goldstone of Brandon, Manitoba and her brother David of Thunder Bay as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her four precious great grandchildren. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration of her life on Monday, October 21, 2002 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at her daughter Debra's home, 30 South Algoma Street.On-line condolencesmay be made atwww.nwconx.net/~nwfa/"
