Judith Rudd Obituary
Mrs. Judith "Judy" Rudd, age 96 years, a former resident of Hill Street South, passed away peacefully at Dawson Court on Saturday, June 20, 2009. Judy's talents and interests were very diverse, extending from volunteering with the Happy Handicap Organization for many years, playing bridge, painting in oils, dancing at the Senior Citizen's Club and crafts. The family camp at McKenzie Beach was her favorite place and she enjoyed many hours there with her family and her flower garden. Judy was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to daughters Michele (Mervyn) Moroz and Theone Turner, grandchildren Christopher, Nicole (James), Amber and Jayde (Jayson) and great grandsons Noah, Evan and Zachery. She is also survived by her sisters Stella and Pauline as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was predeceased by her husband George Rudd. Judy's family wishes to express gratitude to the nurses and staff at Dawson Court for the personal and professional care provided to Judy during her time there. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2009 at 10:45 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery with Ven. Mark S. Conliffe presiding. As expressions of sympathy memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street."
