JUSTIN (SLUG) ERNEST LAFFERTY December 7,1984 - December 31, 2025
It is with the saddest of hearts we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Justin Ernest Lafferty age 41 on December 31st, 2025 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with the love of his life by his side. Justin is predeceased by both his loving parents Donna and Douglas Lafferty and grandparents near and afar. Justin leaves behind and is survived by his spouse Taimi Hagberg, and his little Mr, son John Lafferty. Who were the entirety of his whole world. He is also survived by his sister Melanie (Kevin) Brewer as well as aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends that had the privilege of being part of his life. Growing up in the country, to moving into the city Justin and his quick, witty, smart sense of humor made the strongest friendships. He was a landscaper, tire tech but his passions were anything fast he would make it faster, anything loud he would make louder, as long as it wasn't on water. He loved anything speakers and anything engine alike. Spending his time with his dad, son and many friends fixing and flipping in the gagarage. He enjoyed time spent camping at Marks lake. Fishing, quadding, mudding, sledding but enjoyed the quiet times down at the Creek with a fire and grill. Justin was a man of his word, of old school etiquette. If he said something, or put his mind to something nothing and no one could stop him in achieving it. He was a hard nut to crack but would give a person the shirt off his back or just a phone call away for some fix it advice. As per Justin's wishes a cremation has taken place and a celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
