I am so very sad to hear of Jutta's passing. I knew Jutta since grade one and we were friends in high school and kept in touch through letters for a few years after. I loved receiving her newsy long letters with her beautiful handwriting. Jutta was a very caring person who was herself and real. I was blessed to see some recent pictures of her with her lovely family as I hadn't seen her in many years. And I must say that she had aged gracefully and looked beautiful and very good indeed. I say 'aged' cautiously because she wasn't old and left us way too soon. I also saw on facebook the amazing quilts that she has sewn with such skill and talent. She will be long remembered in many ways. My condolences go to Jutta's family and loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are certainly with you at this very sad time.

My beautiful Q. How I will miss our time. Our laughter , our dinners , our talks. I hope all the hurt is gone and heaven knows the angel it has received. Until we meet again.

I have known Jutta since we were six years old, and we attended all the same classes right from first grade through to high school school. She was one of the most interesting and creative women I have known. Jutta cherished her family, and kept in touch with old friends from her Atikokan years. I rejoiced with her when her son was born, and again when her granddaughter joined the family. I mourned with her when family members passed away. We exchanged letters and then it changed to emails, which made corresponding easier. Jutta had a big heart and it showed in all she did for others, whether it was for family or for a charity. I looked forward to her newsy messages with numerous photos attached, and felt like I was there with her. Jutta will be missed. I miss her already. May she rest forever in peace and may her memory stay in the hearts of all who were a part of her life.
