KAREN KIRKPATRICK Obituary

Karen Ann Kirkpatrick, passed away suddenly on October 4, 2025, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Born on December 17, 1964, in Kenora, Ontario, Karen's life was a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

Karen's early years were spent in Beardmore Public School. Later in life working as a Personal Support Worker in Thunder Bay, a role in which she flourished, touching many lives with her kindness and care at Paramed Home Health.

A devoted mother, Karen's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her children, Jennifer LaMarre, Corrine LaMarre, Refik, Paul, Jazlyn Kaluzny, Seth Kaluzny, and Kaidyn Kaluzny. Along with her mother, Carol Kirkpatrick; her aunts, Marianne Leeck and Rosemary Drinnon; and her uncle, David Jonah, and beloved best friend, Corrie Sitch.

She loved crocheting, camping, and fishing, activities often shared with family and friends. Her beloved Yorkies, Odin, Thor, and Loki were constant companions that she loved dearly.

A service will be held Saturday, October 18th, 1pm-3pm at Lakehead Baptist Church.

Mom, you will be deeply missed. Your light and your sunshine, though no longer present in this world, will never fade in the hearts of those who loved you. We love you, Mom.

I met Karen just days after she was born. Pretty like her biological mom, but I believe she got most of her strength, work ethic, kindness from her mom, Carol. She will be missed and will always be in my heart. Sincere condolences to her family.
