Katherine Grimard Obituary
Katherine Grimard, 38 years born August 16, 1984, was called to the spirit world on September 6, 2022. Those who knew Katherine even just a little, know they lost someone special in their lives. Katherine had a wonderful spirit, always willing to cheer others up and had the ability to engage in conversation with anyone and it never stopped her from giving out the best hugs. Even though she struggled with addictions and epilepsy; she chose to live a life which was true to her authentic self. Katherine will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children Billy, Kodie, Owen and Logan, her loving parents Margaret and Roy, and her brother Henri (Shannon), as well as her nieces and numerous aunts, uncles, and many cousins. She was preceded by her past partner Bobby Rusnick and grandparents, Lillian and Henry Grimard and Christine and Herman Perrier. A private family celebration of Katherine's life will take place at a later date. Many thanks for the support of Bingwi Neyaashi Anishinaabek and their Family Well Being Team and Glenda Takalo. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to a charity of choice.
