Kathleen Everingham Obituary

EVERINGHAMMrs. Kathleen Everingham, age 87 years, resident of Thunder Bay, died on Monday, April 1, 2002 in Thunder Bay Regional Hospital McKellar Site. Born and raised in Fort William, Kathleen attended Drew Street and Fort William Collegiate High School. She worked as a Secretary for numerous employers over the years. Accomplished pianist and talented vocalist, Kathleen found great enjoyment in music. She graduated from Lakehead University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree when she was in her seventies. Kay had a great love of people. She was a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church and adherent member of St. Paul's United Church. Kay is survived by her son Steve Pleson. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Stephen John Pleson, and brother Carl Paananen. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church with Rev. Bert Vancook officiating. Final interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel. If friends desire, memorials to Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra of the charity of choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kathleen Everingham in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove. Annual dedication service Sunday, June 29, 2003."
