He will also be deeply missed by his aunties Irene and Lorna, and all of his cousins.
Kelly's friends were deeply important to him, from the Current River crew he grew up with to lifelong high school pals. He spent many years in British Columbia, where he was surrounded by friends that became family.
Kelly lived a life full of creativity, kindness, and laughter. He had a passion for acting and filmmaking, and his adventurous spirit was reflected in his love of travel. Kelly delighted in everything spooky and scary, a true embodiment of Halloween.
Those who knew Kelly will remember him as a genuinely kind-hearted man. His warmth and humour touched everyone he met, and he had a way of brightening any room he entered. Even while courageously battling cancer, Kelly remained positive and inspiring, showing resilience, grace and humour through it all.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you carry Kelly's memory forward by spreading kindness, laughter, and light just as he did every day.
