KEVIN COLLINS Obituary

KEVIN JAMES COLLINS March 5, 1973 ~ July 3, 2025
Kevin was a devoted father to his beloved son, Blade Collins, who filled his life with endless joy. He shared a deep and loving bond with the mother of his son, Sarah Gagnier, and his partner Shannon Pinese, who's son, Ethan Pelletier, he lovingly welcomed into his heart. He was the beloved son of the late Peter and Catherine Collins and is survived by his parents, Sherry Pelletier and step-father Marcel Pelletier, as well as his predeceased father and step-mother Randall and Margaret Maclaurin.

Kevin was a huge fan of the Montreal Canadians, Kevin's enthusiasm for the team inspired those around him to become a fan or tease him for the team he loved. He excelled in hockey, baseball, and golf; Mom has a suitcase full of Kevin's awards. In addition to his may passions, Kevin excelled academically, completing an accounting program at the Toronto School of Business and graduating at the top of his class. He also had a deep love for his nieces and nephews, cherishing every moment spent with them.

Kevin leaves behind a vast and loving family, including his siblings Candace Pelletier, Blair Pelletier, Josh Legarde, Sabrina MacLaurin (Sheldon), Tara MacLaurin (late Josh), Jonah MacLaurin (Deseree), Peter Collins (Susan), Karen Pleavin (Clive), Anthony Collins (late Anita Collins), Christina Wells (Gord), Evelyn (Dan), Luanne (John), and Georgette. He was predeceased by his brothers George Gilbeau and Dwayne Bannon. He is also predeceased by brother-in-law Phillip Pelletier.

Kevin will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Prayer service will take place on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 7:00 pm, and funeral will take place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Anne's Church.
