Larry Arthur Allan Anderson beloved husband of Alice Anderson of Calgary, AB, passed away on July 28, 2016 at the age of 61 years.
Larry was a man of action; if something was worth doing or needed to be done, it was done fast and efficiently. This showed in his work, sports and life. Time was to precious to waste. Only in golf and fishing did he take his time. In his last years, Larry enjoyed wintering in Florida and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Alice; his son, Shawn Anderson and daughter-in-law, Sheena, his daughter, Jen McInnes and son-in-law, Adam; his siblings, Marianne Darch and husband Barry, Sandra Anderson and husband Paul, Don Anderson and Pauline; grandchildren Logan, Anders and Violet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church (625 – 148th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 4:30 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Foothills Country Hospice Society, P.O. I am saddened to hear of the passing of Larry. For a time in our lives, Larry was my best friend. Those teenage years when we were in High School. He lived across the street. I have many fond memories of road hockey, school dances, baseball, and hanging out with friends. The list goes on and on.
That smile.... he brought it with him everywhere, and for everyone to enjoy.
