Gord, Jennifer, Angela, Elizabeth and Blair and families: My deepest sympathy to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. I have so many fond memories of Laurie and am so grateful to have met her. From the time she looked after my kids, from when she worked at BDO and then reconnecting recently. Laurie was a very strong women with a great smile. She truly fought the fight and I am very sorry for your loss. Hugs to all of you.

So saddened and shocked at Laurie's passing. I knew her from dog walks at LPH, where we would chat, have a laugh, etc. She was a great fighter, and always maintained her pain with a smile. My condolences to her family, and many friends who loved her. I will miss our chats. RIP, my friend!

To Laureen's Family
Our deepest sympathies to the family. We were classmates both at Shuniah and Lakeview. It's been a very long time, but we remember having a lot of laughs. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincerely, Michele (Kreikmann) and Terry Iuvancigh

I was saddened to read that Laureen had passed away after such a courageous struggle to live at such a young age. My memories of Laureen as an enthusiastic, lovely friendly and responsible student in my grade four class at Shuniah School are so vivid. I extend my deepest condolences to Laureen's lioving family.

It's always difficult to say goodbye to those special people in our lives. Laurie was definitely one of those special people. It was a privilege knowing Laurie and her family - they made my life richer. Sarah and I enjoyed our visits with Laurie and all of you these past few years. We may no longer see Laurie's smile or hear her laugh but, our memories will keep her close forever.
