Lawrence Danco Obituary

Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Danco, age 63 years, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 22, 2018.

Larry was born on May 3, 1955 in Atikokan to Mary and Joseph Danco. He was one of 11 siblings! Larry had a huge heart and his generosity was commendable. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking walking and spending time in the outdoors. In his younger years he kept busy with his passion for soccer and hockey. He was great with people, especially children. His nieces and nephews were his world. He enjoyed going to church and his faith was very strong. He was a rock for his mother, helping her out in every way he could.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends

Larry is survived by his mother Mary; brothers Bob (Darlene), Danny (Bernadette), Rick and Terry (Joanne); and sisters Mary (Keith), Cyndy (Doug), Debbie (Peter), Lori (Magde) and Susie (Mitch). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.

He was predeceased by his father Joseph; brother Joseph; nephews Andrew and Derrick; and sister-in-law Sandra.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 1:30pm at EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma. Interment will be held in Little Falls Cemetery in Atikokan at a later date.

If friends so desire, donations made in memory of Larry to the Dew Drop Inn or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

Larry i can't explain how much i miss you it's the little things like you picking up your mail from my parents or just you being there for Christmas dinner . You had the biggest heart and I'm so great full to have been apart of your life . We had Chinese food on New Years just like you wanted to do I wish you could have been here with us . At grandmas 90th birthday it was so beautiful to see how helpful you were with her and yet you never asked for anything ever ! Your a beautiful person I'll try my best to be more like you .
