Lenora Aedy Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lenora Aedy at Hogarth Riverview Manor on July 21st, 2021.
Lenora's life was always entwined with Thunder Bay. Although Lenora received post-high school degrees in Toronto, Kingston, and in England, she always returned to Thunder Bay for family and work. Lenora was a faculty member of the Lakehead University School of Library Technology and retired from there in April 1987.
Her beloved St. Paul's Anglican Church figured prominently in her life after retirement.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Hogarth's 6 North for their wonderful compassionate care over the past years. And a special thanks to friends, Ruth, Mary, and Anne.
A funeral service for family and friends will be held on September 15, 2021, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 808 Ridgeway Street SE, Thunder Bay, at 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow for family.
Memorial donations in Lenora's name may be made to the Thunder Bay & District Humane Society, 1535 Rosslyn Rd., Thunder Bay ON P7E 6W2, Charitable # 89433 0273 RR 001.

Lenora was a great neighbor and happily welcomed my husband
and I to Mark's St N when we first moved here from Sudbury 23 years ago.

I taught Lenora fitness for over 25 years at Herb Carroll centreI always encourage my class in regards to having perfect attendance..Lenora was one of them.
She always had a word to say how her cat was doing and had little jokes to share.
She was a gem.
