Leo Aber Obituary

Mr. Leo R. Aber, age 80 years, resident of Jasper Place, Thunder Bay, passed away at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on December 17th, 2006. Born on February 18th, 1926 in Chapleau, ON he was raised and educated in Nemegos, ON. Leo was employed with C.P. Rail and retired in 1986 after 43 years of service. He was a member of the 55 Plus Fix-It-Club, Masons and the Navy. Leo is survived by his wife of 58 years Violet and family in Thunder Bay and Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 at the St. John's Anglican Church with Rev. Paul Walmsley officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John's Anglican Church, the Thunder Bay Naval Heritage Fund (c/o HMCS Griffin) or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated."
