LEONARD PETCH Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leonard William Petch announce his passing on June 11, 2025 in Thunder Bay. Born May 27, 1949, he was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Leonard was an avid 5-pin bowler for over 20 years, loved travelling, and spending quality time with his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also worked for Canada Safeway for 48 years. Leonard is survived by his wife of 28 years, Linda Petch, stepsons David (Joh-Anna) Ford, and Mike (Lori) Ford, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, step-brother Wayne Homer, brothers Allen and Frank Petch, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by parents Robert and Lillian Petch, and sisters-in-law Carol Potter, and Judy Homer. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at TBRHSC, and the palliative care ward at St. Joe's for all your care. Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
