Lilian Wardle Obituary

Mrs. Lilian Wardle, age 95 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Pioneer Ridge with family by her side.

Lilian was born on November 29, 1923 in London, England. She met the love of her life Albert Wardle during the war and immigrated to Port Arthur, Ontario as a war bride in 1946 where they raised their family. Countless memories of Lilian will live on in the needlepoint, sweaters and the family's favourite recipes we cherish.

Lilian will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Audrey McDonagh (Mike), Les Wardle (Cobi), Sylvia Loffredo (Sandy) and Sheila Wardle (Gerry), as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Albert Wardle and grandson Michael.

A private celebration for family will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Lilian's memory to a charity of choice.
