LINDA ANDREOLA Obituary
LINDA ANDREOLA
It is with deep sadness that the family of Linda Andreola age 73 years, announce her unexpected passing on January 26, 2024 in Ixtapa, Mexico with her husband Abby by her side. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Born on March 19, 1950 to Ada Gilbert and Fred Johnson in Nipigon Ontario. Linda attended Dorion School, Geraldton High School and later graduated from Lakeview High School. Linda worked at Port Arthur Clinic, Port Arthur General Hospital, Boreal Mechanical and various other jobs while residing in BC until her retirement in 2013. Linda and Abby decided to make the big move to BC in 2003 where they spent many years happily making memories. After 17 years away from home they moved back to Thunder Bay in October 2020 to be closer to family. Linda and Abby loved spending weeks in Ixtapa, Mexico every year where they made so many amazing memories together. Linda spoke so highly of her time there and always looked forward to going away. Linda had a love for animals, especially her shih tzu's Tippy and Spunky, her fur babies were a big part of her family. Linda also loved hockey, especially her Montreal Canadiens, if there was a time that Montreal and Boston were playing against each other the commotion could be heard throughout the whole game between her and Abby but after the game and the dust settled they made up until the next time their teams played against each other. Linda would often be seen watching and cheering on her great grandson's Kaleb and Hayden her two future NHL stars (as she called them) at their practices or games on the weekends. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Abby, daughter Sharon (Allan) son Robb (Robynn) her grandchildren Stephanie (Ryan) Sarah (Mike) Shawn (Courtney) Kendra, Kayla and Danielle. Her great grandchildren Kaleb, Hayden, Kinsley, Callen and Wrenley, sister Fran, "niecy" Debbie (Dave) childhood best friends Linda and Ruth and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda is predeceased by her Father Fred Johnson, Mother Ada Gilbert, step Father Herb Gilbert brother Wilfred, sisters Agnes and Patricia. Mother in law Lillian, brothers in law Jess, Clarence and Billy, nephew Grant as well as several aunts uncles and cousins. At Linda's request cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers donations made to the heart and stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated.
